666 and THE BEAST REVEALED

Who’s Name is 666 mystery was solved a couple thousand years ago. First century Letters in Hebrew and Latin do double duty functioning as numbers also. In the Hebrew translation of Rev 13:18 the name and number of the Beast is 666 by adding up the letters of the name “Neron Caesar”, however in the Latin translation the number of the Beast is 616 The only name that fits 616 and 666 is Emperor Nero who at that time was worshipped as God and slaughtering Christians

During emperor Nero’s bloody reign readers of the Book of Revelation knew the name of the beast it was not a mystery back then.

IS 666 a LITERAL MARK ?

The Apostle Paul said he bore the marks of Christ in his body, he was speaking of the wounds he had suffered for Christ. Rev: 9:4 mentions sparing believers that have the “mark of Christ on their foreheads”. ( “He was an easy mark”, “I’m a marked man”) Rev 13:18 says those that did not receive the mark of the Beast on their right hand or forehead could not buy or sell. ( Why? Because they are being slaughtered for their faith in Jesus) A mark on the forehead is not an actual mark, it represents those that worship the Beast or those that worship the Lord. ( the thoughts of their hearts) The “mark on their right hand” represent ones works (what they do, how they live)

How did we get here? Scripture is written with allegory, metaphor, symbolism and many other common tools used in history and literature, when these tools are rejected in favor of “wooden literalism” everything falls apart. If one recognizes this the confusion disappears. The “Left Behind” movies, books and study bibles are multi billion dollar industries as well as the Rapture and apocalypse frauds. Jesus is coming back but not until the New Jerusalem is populated with the number of believers God draws to the Kingdom daily.
